Reduced hours policy

Tasmania Police utilises Reduced Hours Employment Management Guidelines to help retain workers who throughout the course of their career, need to apply to work less than full time for either parenting/caring responsibilities or for work/life balance reasons.  Currently, 25% of the female police officers in Tasmania work on a reduced hours basis.  A number of our male officers also take advantage of this opportunity.
