Wellbeing Support

Tasmania Police is committed to supporting our people, so they are mentally and physically fit, ready, and capable of delivering high quality policing and emergency services in our community.

We have a dedicated unit – Wellbeing Support – that delivers confidential, proactive, and preventative programs alongside intervention and response measures through both in-house and externally provided services.

Our Wellbeing Support model is based on providing our people and their families with access to the most appropriate services for their needs at any given time – the right support at the right time.

The Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Program is a business unit within Wellbeing Support. It is responsible for responding to the impact of critical incidents on our personnel. The confidential program proactively provides officers who have been exposed to traumatic incidents with assistance, advice, and referral services. This support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

One of the proactive services available through Wellbeing Support is MyPulse; an award-winning web platform providing our officers and their families with relevant, motivating, engaging and useful services to help them proactively look after their mental and physical health.
