Moving
As a new member of Tasmania Police, operational requirements will determine where you are first posted to. This is something that you will need to have discussed at length with your family prior to joining. To give you some understanding of where graduates go, see below postings from recent courses.

While it’s relatively uncommon for people to not get their posting preference, and staff at the Academy do their best to accommodate people’s needs, there are occasions where it is unavoidable and you will need to be prepared to move if required.
